I'm a product designer focused on interaction design and visual craft. As I grew up moving between Korea, Japan, and the U.S., I'm naturally drawn to how design decisions shift across cultures. When I travel between these places, I notice how products solve the same problems differently for local users, and I love understanding the logic behind those choices.
Before transitioning to product design, I worked as a graphic designer at an ad agency. That's where I fell in love with typography and layout, and the attention to visual detail carries into how I think about building systems and designing interactions today. I design mobile-first because it forces me to prioritize what's necessary and I'm always inspired by exploring interactions beyond standard patterns. I follow design communities and love seeing how designers experiment with new interaction gestures!
Currently, I'm finishing my Master's in Human-Centered Design & Engineering at the University of Washington.
Outside of design, I love solving puzzles and going to escape rooms. I also recently binged The Devil's Plan and loved how it turned strategy and social dynamics into a game.
